South Adams Middle School Stem Club - State Winner Again!!

For the second year in a row, our Middle School STEM Club won the State Competition for Samsung Solve for Tomorrow.  They won $20,000 in technology.  The group is developing apps for snowplow routes.  They believe they can reduce some accidents if the public is aware of the location of recent snow plow (salt truck) routes.   They were judged on problem applicability, community involvement/impact, application of STEM studies, feasibility and originality.  All 50 state winners will work on their projects and submit their three-minute video in hopes of advancing in the contest’s remaining finalist phases.   We are proud of Mrs. LeFever and our Middle School STEM Club!
