Position: High School Spanish Teacher
Requirements & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish Education or a related field.

Indiana Educator’s License in Spanish (9-12) or the ability to obtain by August 8, 2024.
-
Passionate about education and the value of world languages to students today.
-
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
-
Experience teaching/student teaching at the high school level preferred.
Duties
-
Plan, instruct, and assess curriculum for assigned course subjects (Spanish I, Spanish II, and Spanish III) that are aligned to course standards and objectives.

Lead student development and growth in speaking, reading, writing, and comprehending Spanish.

Develop student understanding and appreciation of the native culture of countries where Spanish is the primary language of communication.

Differentiate lessons and class activities for students of all ability levels and needs.

Demonstrate interpersonal skills and work collaboratively with school staff and students.

Adhere to all corporation policies for staff including attendance, professionalism, and fulfillment of assigned responsibilities.

Ensure approved accommodations are provided to eligible students.

Communicate with students and parents regarding progress and grades.
-
Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
