Examples of Students meeting compentencies needed in the workplace:
- Students consistently test out of college classes straight out of High School
- Many local shops seek out South Adams / Area 18 Machine Trades Graduates for employment opportunites
- One local shop in particular has hired enough of our graduates to equate to 1/3 of their workforce.
- In the Spring of 2009, South Adams Machine Trades Students scored higher on the NOCTI (National Occupational Compentency Testing Institute) than the national average. One student ws able to score higher than the National Post-Secondary average.
