• Wow!  What an amazing start to the school year.  It is great to have our Starfire School family back together again!!

As always, keeping our kiddos safe and in school is our highest priority.  Our goal is to keep our Stars here in school all year long.   In order to do this, we must all continue to work together to prevent students from being considered a close contact, having to miss school, and creating hardships on families.

The South Adams School family is committed to continuing protocols outlined in our 2020 Return to Schools Plan which helped to keep our SA family healthy and in person throughout the 2020-21 school year.  We are so thankful for how our families and community supported this effort.  Once again, this year will take all of us working together to prevent close contacts within our school.

Below are ways to help ensure your child will not be considered a close contact at school….

    1. Vaccination (ISDH does not consider vaccinated individuals close contacts. Currently only students 12 and older are eligible to be vaccinated)
    2. Social distancing (More than 3 feet) as much as possible
    3. Wearing a mask or shield when in close proximity to others (Less than 3 feet)

*Masks/shields will always be available to students upon request

Thank you for continuing to partner with us in these efforts to keep our Stars safe and in school. Please remember the most important thing you can do is to keep your student home if they are sick.
